Phoenix Health Systems, Inc., a nationally recognized healthcare IT outsourcing and consulting firm is currently seeking an Applications Analyst to work at our client site in the Fort Worth, TX metro area.
Summary:
Responsible for analyzing requests and generating effective solutions through the implementation of projects involving information systems as assigned. Responsible for the design, development, documentation, implementation, training and support of clinical systems in response to hospital information system needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyzes requests for support that require system changes and recommends appropriate solutions in accordance with the strategic plan.
- Assists with design, development and implementation of new system features and capabilities.
- Documents application and project design for ongoing support.
- Documents all facets of projects to include design and operational procedures.
- Assures that all system changes are properly tested, documented, and following change management procedures prior to submitting to Manager for review.
- Communicates effectively in order to provide optimal support of all departments' information system needs, to promote information services, and to promote a professional climate throughout the hospital.
- Provides appropriate support for assigned financial applications and systems.
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience with the hospital's application software, is preferred.
- Experience in requirements analysis and hardware-software integration in applications systems design is required.
- Must possess the necessary discretion to deal with confidential information.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in healthcare profession (preferably RN).
- Minimum of two years work experience as a Siemens INVISION clinical analyst is required
