Senior Sales Executive

Phoenix Health Systems, Inc., a nationally recognized healthcare IT outsourcing and consulting firm is currently seeking a Senior Sales Executive.

Summary:
As a Senior Sales Executive, you will drive sales revenue, work with the EVP - Sales to further develop a sales strategy and be actively involved in identifying and closing strategic account sales.  New business development coupled with a “hunter’s attitude” will be the primary focus of this position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • New account sales and growth to base through on-going sales and consulting.
  • Accurately develops and maintains strong sales pipelines and forecasts.
  • Develops specific plans to ensure achievement of revenue goals in both outsourcing and consulting services/solutions.
  • Develops/maintains thorough knowledge of industry applications, trends and issues.
  • Determines/understands the customer’s primary business goals, challenges, and requirements.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key management within the client organization and within the Phoenix organization.
  • Travel is required 50-75% of the time.

Qualifications: 

  • 5-8 years experience in IT outsourcing sales within the hospital industry at or above quota performance levels.
  • Knowledge of hospital and/or healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of a variety of healthcare vendors and/or systems.
  • Demonstrated experience selling at the C level (CEO/COO, CIO, CFO, etc.).
  • Ideal candidate will have existing relationships with consultants and/or healthcare executives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills needed to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, initiative, tact, diplomacy, plus well developed interpersonal skills required for interactions with senior level hospital executives, physicians, other health care team members, and contacts external to the hospital.
  • Ability to write/produce routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to interact with all levels of client senior management and corporate senior management team.
  • Operates under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.
  • Must demonstrate analytical thought process and be able to use good judgment in making decisions. 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
