Phoenix Health Systems Assists Gila Regional Medical Center to Achieve Stage 6 Rating on Electronic Medical Records Adoption
Dallas, TX – August 12, 2009. Phoenix Health Systems, a national provider of health care information technology outsourcing, consulting and business process solutions, announced today that its client Gila Regional Medical Center (GRMC), located in Silver City, New Mexico has been validated by HIMSS Analytics as being one of only 50 hospitals in North America and the first hospital in New Mexico to have achieved a Stage 6 rating under their Electronic Medical Record Adoption Model (EMRAM).
The HIMSS Analytics EMRAM is the industry standard for validating the progress hospitals make toward establishing a complete Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Phoenix Health Systems, along with its partner maxIT Healthcare have provided the infrastructure and assistance with software upgrades and Health Information System module implementations that enabled the hospital to achieve its EMR goals.
